IT Security Analyst for Bahrain

VINIRMA Consulting is currently looking for IT Security Analyst for one of our clients which is a leading Banks in Bahrain with the following skill set and terms and conditions.
Skill Set required:
- Bank security infrastructure consisting of firewalls, IDS and related security software and hardware
- Microsoft exchange servers and TFS servers
- Bank network
- 7 HP-UX Servers for Oracle database middleware and TC/4 applications in main data center, DPS and development.
- 4 NCR 3450 Multi Processor (UNIX).
- 30 Servers with Window 2000 operating system.
- 2500 VeriFone Card Authorization Terminal.
- Office Automation Systems consisting of 4 Servers and 550 PCs.
- 2 Voice Response Systems (National Hotline).
- 2 Windows computers (Swift ST 400).
- Credit Card System consisting of 4 Servers and 10 PCs and links to mainframe.
- Treasury Systems including Kondor, Reuters and Telerate.

Scope & Responsibility:

All Bank’s Security and Access Controls of IT systems.
• Ensuring that the established policies and procedures relating to all automated systems within the Bank are complied with.
• Ensuring that all software within the Bank is genuine and licensed.
• Ensuring that access to all systems are properly secured.
• Reviewing and assessing new security modules.
• Ensuring that the Bank’s automated systems and communication net works are maintained to provide optimum safety.
• Assist the Head of IT in formulating the Security Policies.
• Manage Outsource Vendors
• Evaluate cost/benefit of outsource versus in-house resources.
Propose the department Security policies

Interaction: Interaction with all IT support and operation staff as well as Internal and External IT auditors and IT system security vendors.

Qualification
• Professional qualifications in network and IT security
• Cisco Certified Network Associate [CCNA]
• Checkpoint Certified Security Administrator [CCSA]
• Checkpoint Certified Security Expert [CCSE]
• Solaris Certified Systems Administrator [SCSA]
• Solaris Certified Network Administrator [SCNA]
• Certified Ethical Hacker [C|EH]
• Certified Information Security Systems Professional [CISSP]
• Certified Information Systems Auditor [CISA]

Job Requirements:
• A recognized B.Sc. in Computer Science.
• CISA qualification is preferable.
• Knowledge in software engineering and software development
• Knowledge of telecommunication infrastructure.
Knowledge of IT security standards and requirements.
Experience Required :
Hands on experience to IT systems, hardware and IT communications of minimum 10 years, Hands on experience to IT security aspects of around 5 years. Hands on experience of 3 years to IT networking
Terms and conditions:
Joining time frame: Maximum 4 weeks
