System Administrator for Bahrain

VAM SYSTEMS is a Business Consulting, IT Solutions and Services company with operations in UAE, Qatar, Bahrain, USA, Australia, Singapore & India.
VAM SYSTEMS is currently looking for System Administrator for our Bahrain operations with the following skill set and terms and conditions:
Skills Set required:
Operating Systems: Sun Solaris/Suse-Linux/Windows-Server administration including securing and hardening of operating systems
• High Availability Technologies: Sun / VERITAS / VMWARE cluster installation and administration
• Volume Management: SVM/ VxVM and Array/RAID configurations
• Hardware: Exposure to SUN/HP servers and arrays
• Others: Exposure to databases including scripting skills and industry certifications
Duties:
System Design: Develop system specifications by consulting with users, vendors, business analyst, and application support; analyzing workflow, access, information, and security requirements; and designing system infrastructure.
System Installation: Implement new systems by planning and executing the selection, installation, configuration, testing of hardware, software, LAN/WAN networks and management systems; defining system and operational policies & procedures.
System Performance: Perform system monitoring, analysis, and performance tuning; troubleshooting system hardware, software and networks; operating system management systems; design and execute system load and stress testing; and manage escalation of issues to vendor.
System Security: Secure systems by developing and evaluating system access, monitoring, and controls; establishing and testing disaster recovery policies and procedures; managing back-ups; maintaining documentation.
System Upgrades: Upgrade systems by consulting with vendors; developing, testing, evaluating, and installing enhancements and new software.
System Backups: Creating backup policies, restore rehearsals, and maintaining tape inventory.
Experience required: Minimum 5 years.
Terms and conditions:
Joining time frame : 2 weeks (maximum 4 weeks)
The selected candidates shall join VAM SYSTEMS – Bahrain and shall be deputed to one of the leading Banks in Bahrain.
